Among the activities that benefit workers, AGR.BI delivers income support in the event of a worker’s inability to work due to illness, injury, or as maternity support.
Illness and work related injuries of agricultural workers
Illness: from January 1, 2013 integration of INPS (social security) benefits up to a 100% integration of pay according to the worker’s contract level
For the first 3 days of inability to work, an indemnity of 100% of the worker’s salary according to the worker’s contract level is recognized.
AGRI.BI performs an integration of sums paid by INPS (Italian social security agency), therefore it intervenes in the case of illness equal to or higher than 4 days.
Injury: from January 1, 2013 an indemnity of up to 100% of the worker’s salary according to the worker’s contract level is recognized.
For the 2°, 3° and 4° day of the worker’s inability to work, an integration of the indemnity paid by the company is recognized in order to reach 100% of the worker’s pay according to the worker’s contract level.
AGRI.BI’s service is an integration of the sums paid by INAIL (the disability social security agency), therefore intervenes in periods of injury equal to or greater than the 5 days.
Maternity: From 1 January 2013 female agricultural workers are provided with a maternity benefit of € 500.00 for each child born after December 31, 2012.
In the event of adoption and foster care, the same economic benefits for each child under the age of six will be paid.
